By the way, I did end up buying that folding electric bike from Walmart for $400 and it is really nice!  http://tinyurl.com/yhpgjzt
Once I got the proper folding pedals and a working battery from the manufacturer, it's great!  That site-to-store shipping at Walmart provides good leverage as the manufacturer wanted me to first pay for the shipping of a working battery (not happening) and then tried to demand a $2.50 "warehouse charge" (wrong again).  Given I could return the bike to Walmart for a full refund, I held out and after giving them a thorough tongue-lashing of "how dare they treat their most ardent fan that way," they shipped the parts at no charge and I now enjoy my little bike.
It's really nice and folds small- though not quite as small as the Yike Bike.  I'll have to see if it fits

Good tip, Tessa! That folding bike of yours from Walmart looks like a much more practical model for RVers than the Currie model I linked to... and its guts are apparently made by Currie, which I gather is one of the more respected brands. It's a close-out, so if anybody is thinking of getting one, now's the time. :-)
