JMHO, but I can't see any point in building showroom display mock-ups without all the requisite "parts". The rigs that LD builds and uses as floor models are eventually sold to customers; having to retrofit an unfinished motorhome in order to be able to sell it would be time-consuming, expensive, and an inconvenient disruption to production.
In addition, since modifications and improvements are an ongoing process, so would be the continual rebuilding of these 'mockups'. NObody does that. All floor models are always intended for customer sale, no matter which vehicle, and for almost any product, for that matter.

Bumper You are right but many times the more things a company changes the more they go out of business. Change for the sake of change is hardly ever a good thing. Change for the better can be a very good thing. I visited the factory and must say I was disappointed on the limited selection of demo models.
However it didn't change my desire for a LD and it enabled me a chance to see how so few do so much. I think the big Kodak is a fine example of change for change. They have been burned by GM/ Chevy twice now. I am sure that even at what they are charging they won't recoup development costs. And they haven't sold all that fast considering how many clamored for a bigger LD.
