Store lawn chairs February 16, 2010, 10:55:14 am Yahoo Message Number: 110138Hi Folks, I've got a couple of cloth outdoor folding chairs and I haven't figured out where to haul them easily in a 22' LD. I've been thinking of the shower and I wonder if anyone has come up with an ingenious way to stand them up in the shower without getting them wet and gunky from soap residues. I'd remove them during showering, of course. My thought is to install some hooks or screws that I could attach a bungee cord to, to hold the chairs upright. Is that easily done in that shower wall material? I assume I could find wood studs behind the walls. I'd appreciate any ideas.Thanks...Chuck, Bellevue, WA 1995, 22' RB

Recently I've found it hard to find replacements, so I've had to keep them repaired. A version of them might still be available there from time to time.Steve

If you wipe down the walls and floor of your shower with a microfiber mitt each time you take a shower, you won't have to worry about it being wet or gunky from soap residues when you put your chairs in it. You can also buy a canvas bag to keep the contents dry -- straps or bungees keep the bag o' chairs stable on the ladder rack, or you can just hang them from the rack without bag protection.Second suggestion, for interior use

Microfiber towels vary in size (and quality), but they're widely available; try Wal*Mart, Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, etc. Costco sometimes has them, but not consistently. An additional suggestion/idea that quite a few people have done: put a tension-mount shower rod between the top edges of the shower compartment. I use (the rod with) small plastic hangers with clips (try BB&B, Container Store, Storables, yada yada) to hang wet washrags, a shower wipe towel, and anything else that is "drippy", e.g., a rain parka. There's a marine store near here where I'm sure I can find the decking, which would allow me to store other things
