Shelfs in Cholula Red (30TB) February 14, 2010, 04:28:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 110105Hope this isn't a duplicate post, I'm having some trouble here. We finally finished the shelves on the sides of the flip up table. As always, more work than we expected. Even though we think we know what we're doing, it's always something.I've posted pics of the shelves on the blog. http://cholulared.blogspot.comHopefully, when we get the containers and other items in place, I'll do an update. It's already a huge improvement. This space has always been dead space (read this as a space for stuff to pile up on the floor), but now it's totally usable. One more note. Several years ago, we noticed that the chair on the kitchen side was beating up the paneling and corner trim of the stove. At that time, we put a piece of metal "stair edging" over the corner. When we were installing the shelfs, we noticed that even the metal is getting beat up. It's fine for now, but will need to be replaced in another five years or so. Noticing it, I'm really glad we protected that edging when we did.Has anyone else noticed this or are we just rough on the rig? Anyhow, I hope this gives somebody an idea of another way to use space in their rig.Kate http://cholulared.blogspot.com http://www.cholulared.comWant to find us?
