I am getting ready to set my Jeep Wrangler (2006 Rock Mountain Edition with 30X9.50R15 tires) up for towing and would like to know what baseplate would be recommended. I already have a Roadmaster Sterling AT W/6 tow bar.

Thank you for any advice

I used a Blue Ox on my 99 Sahara, but I also use a Blue Ox tow bar. Not sure about compatabily with Roadmaster. I would see if Roadmaster makes a base plate.

Just my .02

I use this setup from Currie Enterprises on my 04 Wrangler. It's clean and just bolts to the bottom of the front frame rails. Works great! http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/categories.aspx?id=874

I forgot to mention that this set up works with my Roadmaster tow bar.
The kit comes with everything you need to use your Roadmaster.

Unless things have changed, Roadmaster makes "Blue Ox Compatible Feet" that fit on the Roadmaster Sterling tow bar.  I tow a Cherokee equipped with a Blue Ox base plate using a Sterling tow bar.  Five years ago when I bought the tow equipment I did not like the design of the Roadmaster base plate; specifically all the pieces and parts and the fact that it protruded so far
