RV Park in Grants Pass Oregon area?
Yahoo Message Number: 109664
I checked the Database on this site but found no information on this area..We want to leave Redding CA.'s HOT Summer and stay in the Grants Pass area for at least 1 or 2 months.
We have two Boston Terrier's so the park needs to be dog friendly, any suggestions on a nice park to stay put for a couple of months in that area? Thanks-

Hey Butch,

There was quite a discussion of this area a few months ago.
We love Indian Mary, the "jewel" of Josephine County Parks.  They take reservations, have hookups, and huge park with nice areas to walk with dogs.

Keep in mind that it can be quite hot in Southern Oregon.  Only 10 to 15 degrees below Redding.  Meaning 115 in Redding could be 100 or even 105 in Grants Pass.  Last summer we spent 4 days at Indian Mary which is higher than being in town and it was well over 100 every day.  We ran our roof air the entire time which is so weird for us that hubby actually said "You mean the roof air actually works!  I never knew that!"  We've had our '92MB for over 10 years and don't have a generator so have maybe used the air 3 times.
You might want to consider the Oregon Coast instead.  If you are stuck on Grants Pass just be prepared to move into the Cascades or to the coast if the weather turns really hot which it will!
