Can someone who has ordered recently tell me what the current delivery time frame is with new orders? Thanks, Robert Britton Hollister, California

My order was placed on November 4, and they said expected delivery would be "beginning of March" but is now "mid or perhaps a little later." So that's about 5 months. But bear

The Group has a database for order/delivery time tracking...but unfortunately, it's been about a year and a half since anyone posted their information in it.  It would be great if some recent buyers/orderers would add their data to help bring it up to date.  TIA.

This article isn't about LD's, but we are inside an aluminum skin.
We Old timers will probably die from something else first, but the kids!

A Flying Microwave Oven
An airplane is essentially a metal cylinder and is nearly an ideal structure to bounce around dangerous EMF radiation from any device that emits those signals inside the plane. Microwave exposure from cell phones and even Wi-Fi inside a plane is magnified by reflections from the metal body of the aircraft.
And in all cases, the young are much more vulnerable to these risks than adults because of their thinner skulls, smaller heads, and still-developing brains and nervous systems. Their thinner skull bones allow for greater penetration of radiation. The radiation can enter all the way into the midbrain, where tumors are more deadly.

We usually have 2 cell phones, a mifi, and 2 wifi computers aboard.

"a metal cylinder... is nearly an ideal structure to  bounce around dangerous EMF radiation from any device that emits those signals."
There's one problem with this assertion: there's no reliable evidence that the emissions from personal electronic devices are dangerous. The man behind the page, Joe Mercola, is a notorious quack who has repeatedly gotten into trouble with the FDA for selling bogus nutritional products using "slick promotion, clever use of information, and scare tactics." Businessweek characterized him thus in a 2006 editorial:
"He is a master promoter, using every trick of traditional and Internet direct marketing to grow his business. He is calling upon an unfortunate tradition made famous by the old-time snake oil salesmen of the 1800s."
In short, the guy is a fast-talking phony, and his claims about the dangers of using electronic devices inside an aluminum vehicle are pure baloney.

End of thread. Let's get back to talking about RVing. :-)
