When it gets hot the fan turns on and keeps the interior close to outside temp. The window opens into the shower so a ra

Re: Just Curious Reply #5 – January 04, 2010, 12:58:30 pm Yahoo Message Number: 108978The shower window in our 23.5' FL could have been eliminated without any negative effects. It never is opened and is just another place for a leak to occur and for cold and heat to enter. As for claustrophobia, the curtain completely covers the window. Most home stall showers do not have windows and yet they seem to work fine for most folks.Larry
Re: Just Curious Reply #6 – January 04, 2010, 08:53:55 pm Yahoo Message Number: 109012When we got into our new 09 RB this July, I could not figure why they put a window inside the shower, and was very concerned about one more place to mildew to grow on a wet curtain...and what if I were showering and inadvertently pushed the curtain aside, revealing all my Glory to the world at large? So I was grumpy about it for a while...but then I discovered its virtues.1. It does help provide needed ventilation on hot days, airing out the humidity produced by drying towels without having to run the fan while I am gone. 2. It helps dry the damp laundry I put on the collapsible rack in the shower, lessening the need for an outside clothesline. That said, however, I did learn that if I don¹t close the shower curtain when the window and the its curtain are open, I have a clear view, when seated on the toilet, into my neighbor¹s kitchen in the next spot in the RV park. I can only guess what they could see! Enjoy the ventilation, but just be aware of oversharing.Pat in Phideaux, Portland, OR[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
