Open parks in cold weather

For those of you who enjoy cold weather camping, the Travel section in Sunday's Los Angeles Times (12/27) has a column called Need To Know, and under the heading Open Camps, they mention several Sierra campgrounds and parks that stay open in the winter.  Some of those mentioned are:  Eagle Ridge RV Park in Graeagle, (no state given), Calif. Mammoth Mountain RV Park, and Cisco Grove Campground and RV Park near Lake Tahoe.  The article gives a phone number to call for further info:  530-885-1624.  Brrr.

--- Pat, that's the L.A. Times for ya! ;-) Graeagle is on 89 in Plumas County, California. Cisco Grove is nowhere near Lake Tahoe; it's near Donner Lake west of Truckee on 80.  Mammoth Mountain RV is in Mammoth Lakes, CA; that's about 25 miles or so south of Lee Vining on 395.  All of the above are definitely in "brass monkey" country during the winter. Way too cold and SNOWY for me! ;-)
