T-105 vs Costco Battery December 22, 2009, 01:05:28 pm Yahoo Message Number: 108712Locally, the T-105 Trojan is $120 and tax. Costco has a 6v battery with nearly, but not quite the same specs for $70 and tax. Costco is 220ah @ 20 hr and Trojan says 225ah @ 20 hr. Looking at a difference of over $100 for two batteries, is the Trojan worth the extra? I did see Terry's post from a year ago. How is that Costco battery holding up Terry? Anyone else have thoughts?Gary in Chico, CA

Yes it is a deep cycle golf cart battery. I don't remember the model number, but it was the only 6 volt battery available, and of course it was almost exactly the same size as the T-105. The fill caps for the three cells were aligned in a straight row, for those with the older pro-fil caps. Ron and Bluebelle a '99TKB[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]

Costco battery Reply #4 – December 23, 2009, 10:11:25 am Yahoo Message Number: 108732While not the 'deep cycle' model, I have had a Costco battery in my Toyota RAV-4 since 2003 in Arizona, where the heat is the big culprit on batteries, and it still works like a champ! If it ever dies, it will be replaced with another Costco battery.Glen w/SOB[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Re: Costco battery Reply #5 – December 23, 2009, 09:59:24 pm Yahoo Message Number: 108759Keep in mind that folks like Costco, Sears, WalMart, etc., practically NEVER make their own brand of battery. If your Costco looks like the equivalent Trojan, surprise, it probably came from the Trojan factory. As an aside, back in the bad old days, I worked a summer at the Seeger Refrigerator Company. In the store room there were medallions for Sears, Admiral, Whirlpool and probably others. The basic materials never changed, only the medallions.Chuck[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
