New LD Experience December 07, 2009, 08:43:05 am Yahoo Message Number: 108260Someone asked for our feelings on the pick-up of our new LD. We are NEW and have only camped in tents . The first time we rode in an RV was the day we ordered ours and Steve took us for a drive. At the end of orientation, we felt we might be able to get by with the basics. Dave was very helpful and explained everything. The next morning we loaded some of our camping equipment and took off to Live Oak Park for the December Caravan. Everyone there was so helpful and kind. We enjoyed meeting new people and seeing what others have done to make life easier in the rig. I think going to the caravan was a good way to reinforce what we learned and we were happy that so many kind folks were around to answer our questions. We can hardly wait to get out on the road!
