We're having a problem with the CO detector beeping one time whenever we drive under an overpass or tree. The shade on the solar panel causes the thing to beep once. I've checked the fuses and removed the detector from the wall and pulled that fuse just so the dogs aren't spooked every time it beeps. Any ideas?

Maybe what's happening is the low-battery alarm?  I just replaced my house batts after 8 years (a nice long service in my opinion). Maybe yours are weakening?
Our last trip was punctuated with CO-power-level alarms.  Ours responded when we turned something on at a time when the batts were lowest, but I could imagine that interrupting the solar charge current might ring the bell.
The good news is that Chris's checklist for reinstalling batts is exactly the help you'll need.

Just installed new batteries before our trip. Before that the alarm beeped a lot!

Sometimes the CO detectors just croak or a part of them croaks...we had a newer one (than yours) go off for no reason and returned it for a free repair...but you have to read all the fine print on the back of the detector and call and get a return voucher #...however, the CO detector company was incredibly helpful and had excellent telephone customer service.

Thanks for all your help. Now I realized I've made a mistake. It's the detector on the floor. The CCI Controls LP Gas Leak detector.

Do you have any pets sleeping by the detector?

The first things I'd suspect in your case--detector beeps (due to low house voltage) when solar panels are shaded--would be bad batteries or a bad charging circuit. Do you have a battery monitor such as a Link-10? If so, you can use it to keep an eye on your batteries' charge state.
If not, you'll have to play guessing games based in voltage. While parked, watch the voltage display on your solar charging controller (probably an RV-30) as someone throws a tarp over the solar panels to block the light. If it drops below about 12.2V, then your batteries didn't have a good charge to begin with. The cause could be a malfunctioning converter, alternator, or solar charging controller... or your new batteries may not be holding a charge because they've gone dry, or have been drained too low too many times.
On the other hand, if you don't see a substantial voltage drop when the panels are covered (or after sundown), then the problem may be your propane detector. Propane detectors can go bad, and it sounds as if yours may have--at least, it is unduly sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Since propane detectors aren't too costly,  I'd replace that before replacing batteries (again) or other items.
