Pro-Fill Battery System question

Hi Folks,
 I've been using the Pro-Fill Battery Watering System with great success until recently. Twice now, I'm unable to pump the squeeze ball to pump water because one or the other of the ball bearings in the pass-through filter system sticks and won't let water through.
 Does anyone have a method for loosening the ball bearing from its stuck position and keeping it from sticking in the future please?

Chuck, A number of us LDers have experienced this problem.  The check valve is defective.  I called Pro-Fill and they sent a replacement at no charge.

Thanks, Malcolm, for that information. It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one with that experience. I hadn't thought I'd damaged it but this confirms it.
 And thanks Joan for the suggestion to go directly to Camping World. I called them and they said to bring the old one in and they'd exchange it for a new one, which they did.

So, problem solved I think.
