Our '84 22ft LDMP has just had the inside flooring completed - now we will focus on doing some of the prep work before it goes down to Phoenix for painting. Another RVer in our park told us that when he attempted to remove those screws that were rusted, many of the heads broke off and he had a heck of a job trying to remove the stems that were left inside the hole. As an alternative, we thought maybe using a dremel tool and trying to "sand" them lightly. What would the factory do about the screws in the prep step before painting the rig? We are trying to do as much of the prep as possible as most estimates came in with 75pct the cost based on the enormous amount of prep to the exterior.Any ideas?ThanksCathi
