I know she put together an extremely detailed and illustrated handout for our Ladeze group -- maybe that's what I'm remembering. When she returns, perhaps she can be persuaded to do a write up for this forum as well. As many of you already know, Joan knows tires. Thanks Art! I thought I had seen something, somewhere, some time that Joan had written. Now I feel like the lazy bumpkin I am for not looking further! So, OK Andy, what do you think about moving Joan's "About your Tires" to a separate, stand-alone FAX, since tires and related issues seem to come up rather "constantly"!?Lorna

I agree, it needs to be in the FAQ--either as an article, or as a link to the current article. I'm working on ideas for a FAQ index right now.fax -- short for [electronic] facsimile FAQ (pron. Yes, what we really need in an index is an alphabetical listing with multiple entries (e.g., Extenders, Stems, Tires, and Valves should all point to the same article). The question is how best to accomplish this, preferably without going within Yahoo.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

Re: Back to the FAQ Reply #34 – August 24, 2009, 06:51:16 pm Yahoo Message Number: 105219The FAQ I created at: http://www.smarteryellowpages.com/adwords/index.cfm/fa.faq2is constructed with each topic in the FAQ, for example, "1. How can I spend less and get a higher click-thru?" existing as a separate file, where each separate file has a URL. The multiple FAQ topics are assembled into a single web page with the above URL. Links within the overall page are to a Glossary item or the individual FAQ topic as the case may be. For example, the FAQ topic, "How will I be charged for my advertising campaign?" has the following URL: http://www.smarteryellowpages.com/AdWords/index.cfm/fa. Faq/GL.CB1and is linked from this portion of: http://www.smarteryellowpages.com/adwords/index.cfm/fa.faq2which appears as follows.================================== About Your Campaign 1. How can I predict my Impression cost?We no longer charge to display an Ad (an Impression). We charge only for cluck-thrus from your Ad to your Listing. See How will I be charged for my advertising campaign? ================================== I'm not sure individual FAQ topics existing as a separate files can be assembled into a singles pages within Yahoo.best, paul"Thriving not surviving" - Paul Schaye (at 2008 NYC Marathon)
