Drawer Track Squeaking/Chirping

Anyone else had problems with the wardrobe drawer glides (drawer tracks)squeaking/chirping? The glides have two sections that close together and one of mine is squeaking badly (metal rubbing on metal).
 I tired tightening the screws and then spraying silicone spray on the track but that only stopped it for a short while. Now a second drawer glide is squeaking/chirping as well.
 This is a major annoyance and impossible to ignore. Any suggestions?

Try rubbing the tracks with a bar of soap or a candle stub.
