Need lorger term space in Agura Hills, Ca

I will need an RV facility as close as possible to Augra Hills, Ca.  I will be on an extended assignment 3 month to a year in Augra Hills and using the IB30 makes the best sense. We live close to Riverside and the dailey drive would kill me.  I have done a quick lookup, Reservation America, and don't see anything close.  Any ideas? Ed

I live near Agoura Hills and know of no RV or trailer parks in the area.
I suggest calling Coast RV Service (telephone--818 889-8889), in Agoura Hills, and asking them what opportunities are available in the area. They have been in business for many years and have always been helpful.

Malibu RV Park might work, on PCH a couple miles west of Malibu Cyn Rd. A lovely 20-30 min car commute from Agoura Hills, and with a view overlooking the ocean. I don't know if they have monthly rates.

Thanks for the Malibu suggestion.  I will be staying there Friday evening to check it out.  Ed

--- They do offer monthly rates (four digits!) for some sites:

It's only $2260 an month for a ocean view with full 50-amp hookups.
Hey, it's Malibu. If you have to ask how much it cost to camp there, you can't afford it.

WOW!! I guess I am one who has to ask what it costs.  Is it next to Mel Gibsons house or what?  I do need to somethings less expensive.

$2,260 is almost what we pay for the ENTIRE YEAR for campground spaces (remember, we're fulltimers)!  There's no way we'd ever pay that kind of money to stay someplace, I don't care what kind of view it has!  Of course, YMMV.

My last response was a joke, nothing more.
My first response was real. I researched the area around Agoura hills and found nothing, that's why I recommended Coast RV; they are the local experts and would know what is available.
The rates at Malibu are outrageous but then, there are many other parks that charge the same...San Diego's Mission Bay, Newport Dunes and many of the Palm Springs area's parks.
It's at the beach and we all know that real estate is all about location, location, location.
All I can afford a nice piece of dirt in the desert:-).

The Northridge location should be an easier commute, but if your stint is when the weather is warm, Oxnard is much nicer - and close to the beach.

Thank you all for the suggestions, I know Evergreen RV, I stay there when I have work in Camarillo.  I am checking out the Northridge site on Saturday.  I see that Mertolink is close to Northridge, that might be a benefit going forward.  Still wish for something closer to Augra Hills though.  Thanks again to everyone responding.

There is no MetroLink or other train service to Agoura Hills, and the closest train stops to Northridge are Chatsworth or Van Nuys anyway - The rails run north into Simi Valley, then west from there. If there is bus service, it would be a time-consuming commute. If you don't have a toad, I would plan to research a long-term car rental, or continue to look for a closer location.

Soory, I Didn't follow through with my thought.  The Northridge RV park seems to be close to a Metrolink station.  I would use it to travel home on weekends to Riverside and back to the RV Monday mornings.  I would use the toad for valley travel. I THINK!
