Tip on sealer from Phoenix Paint Inc.
Yahoo Message Number: 104608
Hello all, Here is an email from a family business we came upon while searching out painters for our LD.  They take pride in their work and deliver customer confidence, help and guidance.

Read to the end and find out about Trempro 656 - a paintable caulk.

From Phoenix Paint Inc:
You have my permission to add me to any list you would like. I appreciate any help in getting the word out to people that we're here.
We've always been a small business and for years we painted nothing but manufacturer units here until one day when a gentleman asked me if I could paint a home for him. I realized then that the thing I loved and missed most about what I do is seeing the reactions when an owner sees their home for the first time after it's painted. You don't get that from manufacturers. They don't even thank you and they seem to care more about mass producing than quality or even what the customer actually wants. So when the RV industry crashed and burned here I thought it was the perfect time to get away from the manufacturers and give the customers what they really want. I also realized that cutting out the middlemen (manufacturer and dealer) allowed me to offer a price to customers that has not been inflated for their gain. Unfortunately, I still run into people who think that because my price is so low I must not do a good job but again, slowly, I'm showing them that's not the case.
I don't know if you read the Gypsy Journal but just yesterday we were featured AGAIN when the owner of one of our Phoenix Oaks was so happy they sent pictures in to show off their new home. I haven't even had time to add this home to my web site yet. LOL You can see it at http://gypsyjournal.net/blog/2009/08/07/back-to-elkhart/ if you would like.
Please keep in touch and if/when you are able to get out this way I will look forward to working with you on making your home look new again. In the meantime if there is anything I can help or give you advise on don't hesitate to ask and thank you again for contacting us.
PS> if you plan on resealing any seams or trim edges you should do it with a "paintable" caulk. If you use silicone it will have to be removed and resealed before it can be painted and that adds to the price. Thoroughly removing any silicone and recaulking will save you time and money later. I recommend "Trempro 656" if you are able to get it there. It's water activated and skins within an hour and is really easy clean up.
