RV Scam

Just read an article on the Ventura County Star that reported a new scam for RV er's. The crooks approach an older RV or Trailer that is fading and offer to put a new Gel Coat on for a determined amount of cash. The front grill costs 50 dollars and the entire rig costs upwards to 1,000.00 dollars. They will have a child with them and ask the owner to watch it for them as a distraction. All they are doing is wiping grease of some kind on the surface. They instruct the owners to not touch the surface for 15 hours. Just read they were on the rincon beach area north of Ventura.

Ah, ya gotta love those ever-creative gypsies. From spraying oil on your driveway to reseal it to greasing up the RV for you. :-)))
One of the old used car tricks from waaayyy back was to wipe the finish down with a rag dampened with kerosene. Now that would put a doozy of a shine on a car for a little while.
