27 foot mid-bath beds June 17, 2009, 07:36:29 pm Yahoo Message Number: 103392My husband and I find the cab over bed just too claustrophobic, and we got tired of pushing the couches together every night. Finally, we just pushed the two couches together, bought a memory foam mattress topper, and left it like that. Basically, we have our bed set up all the time and no couch. We read, eat and work on our laptops at the dinette. I would like to have more of a living room area, but this works for us. We have a comfortable bed that is big enough for the two of us and our two dogs. This model is pretty flexible. You can also pull the couches part way out and make twin beds.

We put the pillows and travesack over on the driver's side (now a wide twin bed). This gives us the best of all worlds; a bed if one of us gets tired and a couch to watch TV, read, or whatever and leaves the kitchen area free for cooking, eating, etc. Works for us, and the bed side makes a really nice hassock for tired legs after a day of driving.
