Water Heater Problem June 06, 2009, 01:23:51 pm Yahoo Message Number: 103019While getting ready for a short camping trip, I checked the water heater and found it did not work. No spark, so flame - nothing. Based on researching past letters on this forum, I checked the usual stuff - voltage, clean contacts, fuses - everything looked good. I called the local RV repair place and they suggested checking the ECO switch. They said it might need to be reset. This switch is located next to the tank under a protective flap of sponge, or something. I removed it, but didn't see anything to reset. I checked the continuity and it was good. Now I'm thinking the problem is the circuit board ($$$). I reinstalled the ECO, and Voila! it worked! In removing the ECO I must have reset it.I pass this along for what its worth if your WH is not working.--Al in Bremerton --2002 26.5 MB
