Well, Dreamcatcher has moved on to a new home, with new RVers. I deleted the ad from the files, and posted the sale info in the Used LD buying/selling prices database.
Her new owners will be heading to the Escapees' Escapade in Sedalia, MO, next week, and will be going through the RV Boot Camp there.  If you happen to meet Bill and Dee Baxley in a tan and white 30TB, please welcome them to the wonderful world of RVing and the Lazy Daze family.

Hello Sharon:

A group of LD'ers is going to the Escapade. I'm coordinating. I sent you a PM. We would very much like your buyers to join in. Just put them in touch with me.

Ed

Congrats, Sharon and Bob.  Where did your buyers come from?  Which ad prompted them to buy?  1st time LDers?

I hope this won't be the end of your posting on this forum. )-:

Sharon,

Thanks for posting your LD sale to the LD data base.
Your sales price of $38,500 is 92.7% of what would have been predicted by the "LD Expected Asking Price" table.  Considering the economic conditions and the fact that it would be expected that the sales price would be lower than the asking price, it appears that buyer and seller both got a fair price.

Congratulations.

Barry

I hadn't checked the percentage.  Thanks, Barry.  That makes me feel a bit better!  ;^)

I'll leave any more personal info about the buyers of our LD to them to post, if they choose to, but they did find it here, in the LDs for sale ad in the Files.  We didn't advertize anywhere else.  They are brand new to RVing, and have done their homework about how to choose an RV.  After talking to other RVers, they were able to rule out their initial choice of a 5th wheel, as it didn't fit the style of traveling they plan to do. They heard about Lazy Daze and found and looked at a couple of local LDs, but not the 30' models. They also spent time reading the posts here.
They initially just came to see ours, and check out the floor plan.   I think by the time they got home, they'd decided to buy it.  The rest progressed pretty quickly.  Their first inspection had to be done in the pouring rain, so the sale was contingent on a final inspection.  Fortunately, on their second visit the rain let up enough to allow them time to do the outside inspection to their satisfaction.
I think the Escapees Boot Camp is a great idea, and am sure they will pick up lots of good information there.  They did get in touch with Ed, and will try to meet the other LDers who will be at Escapade.

As far as my continuing to post here, you can't keep me away!
