That sensor thingie in the refrigerator May 06, 2009, 05:01:36 pm Yahoo Message Number: 102161The DW did a marvelous cleaning job on the refrigerator and in the process unclipped the sensor thingie that clips to the fins and regulates the temperature. Neither of us can recall where it was clipped.[My excuse is that I only open the refrigerator to locate a Pacifico] It can be clipped in two ways, with the sensor just inside the fins or turned over so that the sensor is two inches inside the fins. The User and Installation manuals are silent on the subject. Can someone take a look at theirs and let me know how they have it. Also I vaguely recall that sliding the sensor up/down the fin has an effect on the temp. Is that a false memory or ?signed, with plans to take a picture of where it goes and put it in my Users manual

DonDon My LD has the clip on the fin farthest to the right, with the wire hanging downward. You're correct about temperature adjustment, the higher the clip, the colder the box.Steve S.
