15A "Outlets GFI" Circuit Breaker Trips

My 2005 30' LD has been sitting through the cold damp Tacoma winter.
I am now preparing for a trip south. I plugged the motorhome into my houseHOLD 30 Amp electrical system.  The current reads 116 V with no ground or other problems indicated on the small circuit tester I keep plugged in to one of the LD outlets.

When I turned on the Dometic Refrigerator/Freezer Model RM 2862 it seemed to start OK in the AC Mode.  A few minutes later I checked it again and the refer control panel lights were out and the power to the outlets was out as well.  I checked the circuit breaker panel and the 15 Amp center circuit breaker marked Outlets GFI had tripped.  I reset it turned the refer back on and a few minutes later the same thing happened again. It tripped a total of three times.

Now, everything appears normal.  The refrigerator freezer seems to work properly on both electricity and propane and the breaker is not tripping.  Still, I am a bit concerned about beginnng out trip. I can reset it several more times and monitor it over the next couple of days.  It may be that there was moisture involved and that it has now dried out. I know that GFI breakers can be sensitive.

Still...any suggestions would be appreciated.

This happens to us on a regular basis.  After the LD has been sitting for a few weeks, the breaker tends to trip two or three times when the refer is turned on, then works normally.  The refer switches to gas when this happens.  I have gotten in the habit of keeping an eye on it until it stays on for a half hour or more.  I have never discovered the reason it does this, but since it seems to self correct after a short time, I haven't tried too hard to find the problem.  Maybe, like some humans, it needs to wake up a little before it goes to work.   :-)   If anyone has a solution, I would be interested in hearing it.

No motorhome right now, but we do have that problem periodically with our home outside GFI outlets.  It happens when there has been a heavy rain.
Doesn't take very much moisture to trip them.  It's what they are supposed to do.  I find that resetting the GFI after it trips usually takes care of it.  Sometimes it takes more than once.  I suppose a fix would be to blow out any outlets exposed to high humidity levels with compressed, dry air like that used to clean out computers.  May be more trouble than it's worth, but the outlets do need to be very dry to keep from tripping the GFI.  Could be a little moisture is getting into the reefer plug outlet when sitting in a damp environment for a long time.

I have a 2004 30'IB and for the 1st few days after I took possesion from the mothership my GFI breaker would trip. As you said, sometimes they are overly sensitive. At any rate, mine finally started behaving itself and I've had no further trouble since.
