As default moderator of this group, I apologize if it seemed to ignore you, but in fact it is no longer maintained. It is a 'private' Yahoo group, and Yahoo provides no way for me to change that. I haven't even figured out how to delete it. It was originally the 'parent' group to this one, formed as private for just current LD owners by invitation from this group and elsewhere, and as a response to the LD Caravan Club's exclusivity.I had hoped that with enough inactivity, Yahoo would delete it, but that hasn't worked either. I'm certainly not against having such a group, if it could be made public. In the meantime, all former members pretty much communicate here.Steve

No problem if it takes awhile; I just wondered if the group still existed. Sounds like it does and like they may be off having fun. Now I'm jealous as I sit here at work!SydQuote"...the group is called Lazy Daze So Cal Campers."SydSydThose folks are pretty busy... but Jerry Galang yahoo.com> Quoteis one (if not the only one) moderator and should respond to you. Go to the group's website, click the "Management" text link at the left side of any page, and you'll see "Delete Group" as one of the options.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/
Re: So Cal Group? Reply #9 – January 28, 2009, 02:52:33 pm Yahoo Message Number: 98872I'm sure Steve's intent was not to denigrate the Lazy Daze Caravan Club. As explained in one of our "Frequently Asked Questions" (in the Files area), membership in the factory-endorsed Caravan Club is limited to original owners for purely practical reasons. The group already averages between 125 and 160 rigs per monthly get-together, making it extremely difficult to find locations that can host such a large group. If all LD owners were eligible to attend, the numbers would become impossible.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

I believe the original creator of that group is long gone. Moderator privilege has just been handed down over time.Art
Re: So Cal Group? Reply #11 – January 29, 2009, 09:45:51 am Yahoo Message Number: 98895"Can a moderator delete a group?"There are nine privileges (e.g., "Ban members," "Change group settings," etc.) that a group's owner can give each moderator. Deleting the group is number nine. By default, I believe that privilege is not enabled for moderatyors; the owner would have to turn it on."I believe the original creator of that group is long gone."Have you emailed her to find out? She's the one who would have to either delete the group, or give you the ability to do so.Andy Baird http://www.andybaird.com/travels/

Andy, since I passed ownership off to another user 'toothvet' in 2005, that is why I don't seem to have the option. I've sent him an e-mail, so we'll see what happens...Steve
