Andy? Yahoo spying on group members with Web Beacons??

Andy, this came up in another Yahoo group.  Is it a valid concern?

I'm sure Andy will speak up here, but here's a message from the Moderators Group, posted a few days ago.

Even though Yahoo's policy hasn't changed in more than 8 years, the "web beacon issue" comes up periodically (and it appears to be happening again).
This page, which we posted more than a year ago when this issue last flared up, is still the best summary of web beacons and Yahoo! Groups: http://tinyurl.com/beaconsandgroups

This seems to pop up every 6 months or so
I personally have web beacons turned off, but this site will give you a bit of info.

"Question: If you turn off Web Beacon, is Web Beacon turned off? Dave"

I have to assume that is the case.

But if not, I'm not sure what I can do about it rather than to stop using the internet.

2003 Seats... convert to heated...

Folks
Does anyone know what brand of seats are in the 2003 rigs?   I want to convert to heated seats.  If the OEM has a kit, I'll start there, if not then something aftermarket.

Anyone have any experience/recommendations?

thanks

Ken

I have installed these exact seat heaters in both my cars, I did the wiring myself and had a local upholstry guy put the pads under the seat material. I used the following site for a instructions, http://www.wrxtuners.com/forums/f93/how-install-seat-heaters-16234/
I love them, but purposely didn't bother with them in my motorhome, since I usually don't drive it for short distances in the winter, that's where the seat heaters are at their best, for the few minutes before the vehicle heater really gets cranking.  The seat heater starts noticeably warming in a minute or two with cloth seats.  Of course, if there are two of you, and you can't agree on a comfy temperature, the colder one can turn on their seat heater from time to time.  Your butt and back will get pretty hot after 15-30 minutes or so.

Ed,
Just a comment about my intended use.  We frequently drive ~6 hrs from Eureka to Sacramento,  I run heated seats on LOW for most of the trip year round.  When I get out I'm a lot more limber and less fatigued.  Yes we stop every couple of hours but the long-distance heat is very useful.  That is my intended use.

Ken,
You might want to consider their model with five different heat levels instead of two levels.

I know what you mean,
