LD Trade ?
Yahoo Message Number: 97499
Hello from cooling off New Mexico,
We have a very well cared for 1993 (second owners) 22' FL, Chevy 454.

My wife is no longer able to climb the ladder to the overhead bunk.
I am inquiring of the group if there might be someone interested in a trade? We are probably talking about a 30'IB or TK but there may be other configurations that would allow a down bed arrangement. I have seen the for sale ad on the 26 i/2' IB but have concerns since LD stopped offering the model.
We can of course make the couch into a bed as we do now. However, it is a chore tp make and unmake every day. My wife is 91 and still gung ho to RV. However she tires easily and needs frequent rests during the day.
We would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions from the group and any interest in a trade possibility. We leave tomorrow from New Mexico for a leisurely RV trip to CA for holidays. Probably cannot count on e-mail until we arrive at our son's home in Palmdale. Plese contact us with any interest either through email or at our son's. Tim Ross, 661 944-6233. Our e-mail address is  and our cell phone number is 575 430-6236

Thank you for a helpful and infomative site.

Nina and Gordon Ross

You realize that the TK would also require making up the couch(s) into a bed every day, too, don't you?  I suppose you could leave one of the couches made up into a bed at all times, leaving the other one for sitting.
The reason that LD stopped offering the 26-1/2 IB was because it wasn't a popular model.  Other than that, I wouldn't be concerned about buying one if what you really want is something with a fixed bed.
Of course, if you want to go with a 30', might I suggest the 30' TB?  The twin beds in the back are dedicated beds, not couches you have to pull out and make up each night.
