First Timer Question
Yahoo Message Number: 97358
We are planning on taking our 22' FL out for the first time this weekend.  We are loading the trailer and taking the motorcycles to a BLM managed dune wilderness.
Our question is about packing the RV.  We have developed a rough draft list of things we need to take with us.  Stuff like tools, jumper cables, toilet paper, coffee, etc.  We are concerned that we may not know of some important things that we need to pack.  Can you folks offer us suggestions of items that we may not have considered but need to have in the RV?

This is our first RV and this weekend will be our maiden voyage.

Thanks:

Rob, Maria and Selah

That's what "Maiden Trips" are all about, how, and with what, are you going to travel/camp.
Take the basics along with a pad of paper and a pen. Write down items as you think of them. The next trip out will be more comfortable than the last, etc. Soon enough you'll have more than enough 'stuff'. In fact you can collect so much 'stuff' that you could become overweight (not you personally, just the LD). ;>)

Happy Travels!

Under Files > RVing Resources check out the Trip Checklist file. Also, I always bring surgical latex gloves that I buy at COSTCO to use while dumping gray and black water tanks. Slip them on, dump, slip them off and toss 'em.
Good luck and have fun!

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/lifewithalazydazerv/files/RVing% 20Resources/  Here are a bunch of checklists right here in our files/rving resouces section.  Steve S has it right.  You'll know what you're missing after the 1st trip.  Google RV checklists:

.....  Steve S has it right.  You'll know what you're missing after the 1st trip.
That's why many people choose "driveway camping" for their first night or two in a new unit.
You can just run into the house if you've forgotten something that's absolutely essential.
