Original roller still seems to be in working order but shade missing. '92 RL.If you prefer the original style (as we do in our '83) I recommend making a new shade using 'blackout' material from a fabric store. This is high-quality drapery material designed for use in photo-studios, etc. Others have used this successfully, and I expect to do so soon. I HAVE used the material for a different purpose, and am impressed with its quality.Steve

Any large hardware store such as Lowe's or Home Depot can make a custom roller blind to whatever size you need.Andy Bairdhttp://www.andybaird.com/travels/

We are recent purchasers of the rig so I don't know if they are original equipment. You can custom order window shades from stores, or order them on line. Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper is an on line source I've dealt with, with good results.Georgia in Lower Alabama
