Retofitting a 12vdc propane detector into an older coach

I have a 93 rear dinette model,I want to place a lp gas detector  in the
coach    Your floorplan should be similar to my '99 rear dinette. Since  propane is heavier than air, you want the detector close to the floor. Mine is located on the wall near the floor, just below the kitchen drawers. Pulling out the bottom drawer should reveal the water pump. 12 volts is available near the pump. On the opposite wall near the entry door is a good area in front of my battery box. I'm not sure if your arrangement is similar enough to mine. The electrical panel is there and  you could tap into anyone of the 12 volt circuits. Please provide a name for future reference, it feels more friendly that way. Ron and Bluebelle, a  '99TKB
