retired LDer with phone installation experience?
Yahoo Message Number: 88737
Sarah was having trouble posting and asked me to post this for her _

Hey LDers - Jojoba Hills Escapee Park in Southern California is looking for a retired RVer, with experience in telephone installations etc. They're offering some sort of salary (don't know what) and a place to stay with hook-ups. I think there are some other benes like free laundry, but I really don't have any particulars. For those of you who don't know the park, it's really a nice place to be.
Par for the course, it's full of RVers and therefore a higher than usual number of friendly folks. The park has a work out room, big swimming pool, two jacuzzis, tennis court, saunas, etc.

I don't have any details of the issues with the telephone system or exactly what's needed  - I just heard this announcement at a meeting yesterday.

If you know anyone who might be interested in this, have them email  (or if Yahoo cuts that up, it's office at jojobahills.com)  or call Kip Casper, the acting general manager, at 951-767-9130, Ext 0. If he's not available, you could talk to his administrative assistant, Linda at the same phone number.

Happy trails - Sarah

Sarah's problem of not being able to post wouldn't be because of the remote location, would it???
I'll reserve my thoughts about how isolated that place is and instead wish Sarah good luck in her quest. I happen to have worked for NY Bell some years back and could probably qualify for the job but wild horses couldn't drag me out there.
