Does anyone have a source for the Nature Pure Water Filter Cartridges?  Camping World seems to be out and General Ecology seems to be selling a filter called the Seagull rather than the Nature Pure.

Kate, I may be mistaken, but I *thought* Seagull is the filter for the Nature Pure system.  I just replaced mine but threw the packaging away.

We've had two of the Nature Pure RV Water Purifiers and as much as we've liked them, we've had problems with the plastic rod that holds the cannister together.  The plastic would deteriorate and break off -- the last time happened while it was still in the cannister rendering the cannister sealed for life.

We called General Ecology and they replaced our old unit with the Seagull IV stainless steel model.  It is a much more durable unit and the water flow is higher.  We like it much better!

The point of all this is that when I talked to them (this was last November) they said said that they were no longer going to make the plastic Nature Pure RV system.  That may be why the filters are no longer available at Camping World.  The filters for the Seagull IV unit are a different size than for the Nature Pure model, so be careful to get the correct filter.
