The CALL Came Today (and an LD Sighting)

Ms Vicki called today to give us a delivery date of January 15 for our 2007 red RB. That's two-three weeks quicker than projected. Time to get excited now and real busy too.
 On a separate note, at about 12 noon Sunday near Hartselle, Alabama on I-65 South, we passed a nice LD and I gave the driver a big "thumbs up" from our white C-RV as we went by. I tried the CB on both CH 30 and 19 with no joy. I'd like to know if the owners are here in the group and pass along best wishes for the holidays. Seeing your rig must have been a good omen for us. Thanks a bunch,

First of all, congratulations on getting the factory call.  You are going to love your new LD. We picked up our teal RK at the mothership on Nov. 19, but were parked in Auburn, AL last Sunday.  Dorothy and Don Malpas () live in Birmingham with their new rig and perhaps it was them you spotted on I-65.

Thanks, guys. We appreciate the good thoughts and all the help we've already gotten from the group and the archives. It was Dorothy and Don we saw on I-65 and they live less than seven miles away. We're really looking forward to seeing them and Koko too.
