Barry,
We, too, enjoy the COE CG's, and as you say, with the Golden Age Pass, they are really a good deal.  I expect that once we're done "working" at Gamble Rogers SRA in FL. we'll spend the next two months checking out more COE spota through the southeast.
Pocahontas was a very nice park, with bathhouses being the among the best we've encountered anywhere.  Equal to Mahlon Dickerson.  I'll be working on additions to my web ste for Pocahontas and for Crosswinds CG at Jordan Lake SRA, NC, our current location.  Hope to get them posted in the next few days.
Yes, our family is liking the datastorm users map also - pretty slick.  The grandkids get a kick out of seeing where we are.  Again, I thank you for showing it could be used without having a datastorm.

http://map.datastormusers.com/user1.cfm?user=6079 Posted by: "Barry Barnes" Yes, we have already been up to NE and back. We had to go early this year. We decided on the return trip that the Corps of Engineers Recreational Sites were the best buy. We stayed at several, and with the Golden Age pass, the cost with electric hookups was $8-$11 per night. Very well maintained parks, but tending to be in the middle of nowhere.  Great as long as you are not in a rush.
How is Pocahontas State Forest? (I assume that's where you are. It's kind of fun following your travels using the Datastorm users map.)

Thanks for the link.to Mahlon-Dickerson in NJ.
