L-D roof and Kayaks

We went to a welding shop and gave them very explicit instructions.  It was not cheat, but we could carry the QE2 on them.  I would start by calling the mother ship and getting explicit instructions.  Then, contact welders.  I don't think you can find anything out of the box.  I know ours were custom made.  A word of warning: don't put more holes in the roof!  It is not necessary.  If the shop says they can't do it without new holes, try another shop.

Allen,
Thank you.  I called Steve at Lazy Daze and he said they didn't have any specific directions for the Kayak racks.  He said to distribute the weight on the corner and to use the existing holes.  I will look around for a welder. I don't know if I'll have time to do this before Cheyenne, so if anyone can recommend a welder out West, please let me know.  I know I've seen Larry's directions for the Kayaks, but can't seem to find them now.  Thanks for any assistance.
