It was an OK park that we were able to get the Passport Rate for three nights. Much less expensive than the KOA.Beverly and Ross Cat's Meow Las Vegas, NV

Our favorite stop is in the town of Lebanon, TN at the Countryside Resort. We stay at this RV park, which is right off I-40 on a service road. We've stayed there at least six times. The resort is East of Nashville. DIRECTIONS:I-40 EASTBOUND FROM NASHVILLE: I-40 to Exit 232-A (Highway 109 South). As soon as you turn on to Highway 109, the first left turn will be the I-40 Eastbound on-ramp. Go 1/10 mile further to the next left turn (Safari Camp Road). Turn left on Safari Camp Road 2 miles to Countryside Resort.Countryside Resort 2100 Safari Camp Rd. Lebanon, TN 37087 Voice ~ 615.449.5527 http://www.countrysideresort.com/ Email ~ Ron and Carol Fernandes, Your On-Site Owners The campground is up on a hill with lots of shade trees, a pond with live ducks. Your LD will blend in very well. The owners were warm and friendly. The town of Lebanon is a short distance away from Nashville. Lebanon has a lot of history also. It's the home of the original Cracker Barrel restaurant. If you have a toad it is an easy drive back to Nashville. As usual, there is a super Wal-Mart nearby. Also, I think you can pick up the tour bus to visit Nashville at the campground. Oh by the way, don't forget to stop in Memphis and pick up some of their world famous BBQ at the cook-off in the Beale Street area. Yes, you're in luck, this is the time of the year for the "Memphis in May festival." BBQ and southern food galore! Then top it off with Tennessee's own Mayfield ice cream. We are headed to Cookeville (100 miles east of Nashville) for our son to tour the Tenn Tech campus and we were wondering where in Nashville to stay. We are planning to stay in Nashville on the Friday night, visit the campus all day Saturday, drive back to the Nashville campground Saturday night before heading home to Collierville (outside of Memphis) on Sunday. Hopefully, this will be Easter weekend and our first outing with our Little Darling. Between icy weather and a cruise from California that we had planned...we have not had the chance to stretch her legs since we bought her. Don't worry, she had stayed covered and warm!! Can't wait!!

Put them on my 'must come back here" list!-- Maybe the reason History repeats itself so often is that no one listened the first time.-
