Electrical outlets in 2006 26 1/2 MB March 27, 2006, 12:52:18 am Yahoo Message Number: 64634Help! I was so careful when we went down to look at our soon to be new LD that I forgot to check out where the plug-ins are located. Can someone enlighten me. Also is there a 12 volt plug by the TV? We just got an AC/DC DVD player and I can't remember the layout. I wasn't to excited about our new purchase.Shirley

The latter is controlled by a switch next to the switch that controls power to the TV. This 12v outlet would be used to plug in an inverter that powers say a VCR and or DVD player. In my case, we paid extra to get a 12v outlet in the bathroom. We use an inverter there to power a "water pick" and electric tooth brush charger.Alex '05 26.5' MBShirley wrote:

Also is there a 12 voltQuoteplug by the TV? Mine is two weeks old. And I'd asked for a couple of extra. Moving from the rear to the front: (*) I had special ordered a 120 v at bottom of cabinet, center of rear window. * 12v in cabinet next to TV with hole through from TV (I was very disappointed to find out there was no 120v there also. I had assumed there would be.) * 120 v at floor level to the rear side of the bathroom door. * 120 v over sink in bathroom. * 120 v just under the fold-down shelf at the sink. * 120 v at bottom of cabinet above kitchen window. (*) I special ordered a 12v and a TV cable outlet there also. * 12v and 120 v under the cabinet over the dinette. (*) I special ordered a 120 v at the end of the cabinet over dinette by the head of the bed. * There is also an outside outlet near the door- David

We added that 12v outlet in the bathroom and the pedestal table in the back. Recall that there is fee for making a change to the order in addition to the cost of item ordered. The Mothership does not want to be churning paperwork for naught because we can't make up our minds! I talked to Steve, but was also asked to email him the request citing the new items and increase in the cost.AlexShirley wrote:

Ours is to be ready June 1st. I would certainly think there was time. However, if Steve agrees to do it, you will be charged both for the additional outlet and also a penalty for a change in the original contract... each would be $50 I think. E-mail Steve and tell him you want it.- David

Personally, the only reason we don't have an LD is because I hate waiting the 90-105 days for delivery. We've tried the used LD option but have not been lucky enough to get one. If you would like to opt out of the deal with the LD factory, we would be extremely glad to discuss some options with you. For example, we would pay you for your deposit. You sign the contract over to us. Then we would take delivery of the LD and pay off the remaining balance to LD. What say you? Regards,Rubin in San Diego

We are very excited and can hardly wait for June 1 when we can pick it up and bring it home. Sorry if I gave anyone the wrong impression.Shirley

This is one of those cases where an emoticon would help...a winkie-face would reinforce what I assumed was a joke anyway...she was SO excited about her new purchase that she forgot to check on electrical outlets, restated in an amusing way.Sonsie

At the forward end, top, of the driver side couch is a removable wood access panel. This provides access to the area behind the shower. There's a 120 VAC outlet (stock) just forward of the driver side couch, this is removed and Romex (wire) is fished under the shower and up through the access panel, from thence up to the TV.all the best, bumper
