What model did you get?If you update your profile, post a message, or e-mail me with your geographic info and e-mail address, I will send you an invitation to our travel club.By upgrading tires, what exactly do you mean, brand or different size? I heartily recommend you replace the house batteries with Trojan brand batteries. I have a pair of T-105's that are six years old and still going strong in my 1985 unit. You can find them at: [url=http://www.lazydazeowners.com/[url=http://www.trojan-battery.com/intro.htmlOnce again, welcome and hope to see you at the travel club soon!Greg Co-moderator
tires and batterys Reply #2 – July 17, 2000, 09:05:31 pm Yahoo Message Number: 430My understanding is that LD uses two 6 volt Trojan T-105 batteries, wired in series (to give 12 volt), for new MHs. The two T-105's are rated at 220 AH. An upgrade from T-105's are two 6 volt Trojan T-145's rated at 244 AH. The T-145's each weigh about 10 pounds more, but are about the same size as the T-105's. I do not know what the price differential is.
tires and batterys Reply #3 – July 18, 2000, 09:34:21 am Yahoo Message Number: 431When we bought our '83 it had 8.75R16.5 tires in the front, so when we put new tires on the back, we replaced the bias-ply with this size radial. There is no contact problem with the wheels we have, which are probably the same as yours. All six tires are now Cooper SRM's.Steve
