A toast to Eudoro - a little OT

Sarah's Pete took Mimi, Suzanne and I to lunch today at a fantastic Brazilian restaurant here in Albuquerque.  It's called Tucanos and features Churrasco or Brazilian Grill.  There is a fantastic salad, soup, vegetable bar with an enormous number of interesting dishes and waiters circulate throughout the restaurant with huge skewers of different kinds of grilled meats that they slice off for you.  They keep coming until you turn a little marker over on your table signaling that you've had enough.  It's all-you-can-eat and we definitely ate a lot.  I'd think I was full and they would bring another platter of fried bananas or a skewer of grilled tenderloin and I'd take just a little more!  Of course we were thinking of Eudoro so we had a toast to him with our delicious Brazilian fresh limeade - another fantastic taste treat.  We also toasted Sarah for bringing Pete into our Lazy Daze cult!

I don't know how authentic the place is Eudoro but if it is even close, I will have to do more investigating of Brazilian cuisine.
Here's the web site for the restaurant in case any of you are in Albuquerque or Provo Ut, I definitely recommend it.

Jonna,

My GPS (George Picks Streets) and I are sitting here salivating. We need a file for best restaurants across the country. If we had access to that, we'd be the "balloons" in next year's festival.

I haven't patronized any of the places, so I don't know how current or accurate the listings are – things can change pretty fast in the restaurant biz -- but it's a start!

That's a really good place to eat when you're absolutely hungry to the max. Well, this afternoon Pete's on his way home to our Lazy Daze home next to Craig Rehab Hospital, and he already has another date to take his main squeeze (me ) out to dinner. Pete's an expert on great places to dine. Suits me just fine!

I sure enjoyed hearing about all the fun you guys/gals have been having at the Balloon Fiesta - Bill Haas sent me a e-mail postcard from the Festival. And, it was fun hearing all of you holler greetings to me when Pete called from the Festival! Well, we'll both be there next year, I'll bet!
In case some of you wonder why Pete went to the Balloon Fiesta, and I didn't. Pete had some long-standing doctor's appointments in Albuquerque for this week, and so he just flew down there. I think he spent several happy-hours with the LD gang, and he loved it. For the new folks - Pete and I used to live in Placitas - a burb of Albuquerque, before we started full-timing last February.

Happy trails, Sarah Englewood, CO
