keeping hoses from freezing/insulating cab windows?

Re camping in NC in winter. We used an old VT trick when we were camping in freezing weather at Xmastime. Hooked up to city water, we put one faucet on an extremely slow drip---just a drop by drop drip.
Everybody else in the campground had frozen hoses in the AM. Ours was OK. Seems to be just enough liquid motion in the hose to discourage freezing.
Maryellen---two more months until LD delivery How do people insulate the windows in the cab when camping in cold weather?

Good idea. I wondered if this drip would add a significant volume to the gray water tank over the course of 8 hours?
Other than putting on the vinyl widshield/ window mask that came with our LD we don't insulate cab windows but we isolate the cab by hanging an open sleeping bag frm the cabover bed to the floor. We do insulate cabover windows and hatch by cutting pieces of 1" foam and holding it

You might get away with that in near freezing temperatures, but when it gets much colder, like 10-degrees F or colder, you need a steady stream.  When we had frozen water mains in our neighborhood in Spokane Washington, my wife listened to the utility company and started a pencil size stream in the basement sink.  We were one of the few people with water for nearly six months.  Of course those on the branches with a frozen main were out of luck anyway.  Sure glad my wife took the initiative to do that.  I would have said, "Oh, that's not necessary."  Sometimes it really pays to listen to your wife.
Of course running a stream means that you must also be hooked to the sewer connection, or you would soon fill your tanks.
