Aetna: We have a nice 2001 26.5 Mid bath here in Michigan for sale.  Details are on this sites "for sale" section in the files.

We recently reduced the price from $55,975 to $52,975.  Mileage is just under 26,000.  Be happy to send you pictures and other details.

Hi - thank you for responding...we are unable to travel very far at this time, since we have a senior dog who frets and whines(and drives the housesitter crazy) when we are away, and flying would be too stressful. We are hopeful one will turn up closer to us.  But we are keeping our options open, in case something changes and makes travel possible.  We are also checking with airlines to see if she could occupy a seat in a crate, if we paid for her seat as well as ours, and with the vet to see if he thinks she might be okay with that.  We are not terribly silly dog people, we have just had her for 14 years and she gets to live out her final years in happy, unstressful circumstances, we owe her that.  Thanks, tho.

Please find it reassuring that there are at least 2 of us who don't find you "silly dog people" at all.  We became RVers (and bought a LD as our first RV) because we had 2 elderly dogs whom we did not want to risk boarding (or being apart from) when we travelled.  As a result, we found a wonderful lifestyle and this fabulous group!

Our elderly dogs have since passed across Rainbow Bridge, but not before they got to experience much of this great country.  Our 3 young (all rescue) dogs follow

And my two cents:  I also bought  an LD to take my dogs with me on trips; one 13 and one 14.  The 14-yr-old got three great trips this summer, and as of this a.m., she's playing frisbee as she used to, only doing it with my dad

Thanks for your encouragement - the right LD will show up for us in the right place at the right time, I like the saying "Everything works out in the end - if it hasn't worked out, it isn't the end".  Where in Lake Tahoe are you?  We are in Incline Village.
