Ford chassis, is the MAXIMUM weight your entire Lazy Daze, towed vehicle, towing equipment, supplemental braking system, passengers in the LD, personal effects in the LD and toad, etc. is legally allowed to weigh. There is no fudging on the GCWR.I would not want to get too close to that limit.Sharon N.

There is no fudging on the GCWR. AMEN. Further, the Ford manual says that the towed object should provide its own braking function. The E-450's brakes are apparently not designed to to deal with more than its 14,050 pound weight.Linley
