Exterior Red Paint Color Codes

I recently received the following nice reply from Dianna of the Mother Ship:
 "Steve is on vacation this week. The only paint codes that I have for the Lazy Daze red colors are Cardinal Paint codes. There are no cross references to Dupont, etc. numbers for these colors. The Cardinal Paint codes are Light Red 6609 -75507  and  Dark Maroon 6609-75630.
The phone number for Cardinal Industrial Finishes is ( 626 ) 444-9274.
The paint type is Twp Part Polyurethane. I hope this helps.

I have not had the time to go to any of the local automotive paint stores to see if they have a match in lacquer for these Cardinal numbers. If anyone does please post your results.

In this board's "Files" section, you'll find Paint Chart.gif, which gives the number codes for Dupont Centari as well as Cardinal Ellis paints.

Actually, I was hoping someone had some suggestions for the red paint that were similar to what they are discussing in this post, but thanks for the info!

Well, the factory doesn't have, but we do: Just check in our files area. We have the Cardinal codes for all present LD colors.

Hello Lacquer Touch-Up Interested LD Owners!
 Dupont Centari paint has an enamel formulation and is not suited for use as a touch up paint.  Enamel is well suited for panel repainting
