WANTED: 2001-2004 26' Island Bed

There are many ads on the internet now of L.D.s for sale, I guess because of the astronomical price of gasoline.  Since I only make short trips to visit family and friends, the gas price is not so important to me.
With the internet being so questionable,  I am hesitant to deal with unknown people when considering a purchase this large.
Since this is a friendly group and one tends to think that people who know one another a  lot, or a little bit, would be safer to deal with overall, I thought I would ask of your 400 some odd members, if anyone has or knows of someone who wishes to sell their's.
I checked out the three Island Bed L.D.s on your listing, and one has too high a mileage (79,000 miles), the Arroyo Grande one is no longer available, and the Garden Grove one has sold.

You can contact me by e-mail at busyness @  charter.net Thanks. Frances

You must be the person who spoke with my wife on the cell phone today as we were driving home and was in Arizona. We have decided after a quick trip to Texas in a new $90,000 Dodge 2006 Air Stream Class B that the Lazy Daze is by far the most suitable for 2 relatively older senor citizens. The new expensive van was purchased as a down size with the idea of staying in motels and the first night proved that a bad idea. After a week we promised each other to never stay in a motel again as long as I can drive and the the L D will run....

I went through somewhat the same thing, and it's funny how one's mind set can change. Before we got our motor home, we traveled in a car, and stayed in motels, resorts, and rented condos for longer stays, and pretty much had a good time doing so.
My original idea with getting the Lazy Daze was to continue to do this, primarily having the motor home for its many comforts while on the road, to make traveling with our dog easier, and maybe staying in a campground or two on any given trip. The reality has been that a year and almost 10,000 miles later, we have yet to see the inside of a motel.
