1984 LZ 22 foot loud tail pipes and more

Hello, I recently purchased a 1984 LZ 22 footer for $4,500. It has been sitting quite a while do to the owner going blind. It has dual exzaust and they are loud. They pop when slowing down. I checked for holes and found none. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I had to spend $1,030 on refrigerator, $107.00 on dash a/c. I changed the thermostat and vacumn switch. I had to replace the valve in the toliet which I also did myself. The previous owner curbed it and damaged rear wheel and front one. Any idea what it would cost to replace them? The water cooler works, as well as everything else. I got 8.60 miles to a gallon with four people in it and full load of water and was in every kind of driving situation from stop and go to 25 miles and hour up hill on dirt road to 112 degrees in Palm Springs. I plan on going to Texas in October and hope for lower gas prices. I was told by a man that a Lazy Daze was up there with Streamline trailers. I live about 50 miles from Pomona and never been to their plant.

The Muffler are glasspacks, thats my guess, only because I have them on mine and they pop when I let off the gas or am costing down a hill.
I put brand new wheels off a 2000ish chevy on mine so I could have more tire options, so the are 16in now insted of 16.5in. You will need custom wheel adapters in the front. There are a little lose in the front but snug in the back. I think I got the at $50 a wheel and I got 7 of them.

Have fun in your LD Doug
