oops with RoadMaster tow bar
Yahoo Message Number: 57156
In one of my mid-winter posts, I talked about braving the great Ohio valley ice storm to get to northern Indiana to have Christmas with my side of the family.

When we got back, everything needed to be cleaned of road salt. The towbar got liberal sprayings of lubricant.

This summer, one arm of my RoadMaster tow bar stopped locking in place. Before calling the shop that sold it to me four years ago, I visited RoadMasters' website. On their website they say, "Don't spray silicon lubricant into the locking mechanism."
My bad. The hitch shop told me to bring it in to see what they can do.

Just a warning to RoadMaster tow bar owners. It seems intuitive to blast lubricant into the locking mechanism at the same time you are spraying down the arms.
