Help the refrigerator won't start!
Yahoo Message Number: 56197
We are planning on leaving tomorrow morning for a 10 day trip. I cleaned the refrigerator last night. My husband went to turn on the refrigerator and it won't ignite. The pilot light is on; the RV is level, and the lights say gas and on-But it is not working. We just filled up the propane and it is on.
What are we not doing? or what can we check? Gosh how frustrating! Sandra

Hi Sandra, Are you getting propane to the stove top burners? I'd light all of them to get air out of the line and then try the frig again. I'm by no means a propane expert but I understand that sometimes you can get air in the line (I think that is the right wording). We have an '87 LD so if yours is newer maybe this advice isn't accurate.
Maybe others could give other advice. Good luck.

We had a similar problem in our 1987 multiplan and it turned out to be the outside where the pilot light is, it was full of rust particles, dirt and who knows what. We ended up getting a dust and lint remover aerosol can that is used for computers to blow it all out and it worked fine after that. I suppose you can try to vacuum it out also. Hope this helps
