Cats in the RV

We recently decided to try taking our 10 year old ex-feral, now indoor kitty with us on a trip in the RV, partly to keep him from being lonely when we're gone ( even with a daily visit ) and partly in practice for the next hurricane evacuation which we'll be doing in the RV from now on. Everything went pretty well.
Chester isn't particularly thrilled with the driving part, spending nearly all his in-motion time under one of the swivel chairs, but he comes out soon when we come to a stop and is eager to look out the windows and see the sights when we get to camp. He really wanted to get out and catch himself a cow, I guess they looked pretty small off in the distance.
He has always been a pretty outgoing critter. When we've moved from house to house in the past with multiple kitties, he was the only one of three to not see the need to hide when he got to the new house. He always started exploring immediately.
I suspect some are cut out for the RV life, some aren't. Just like people.
