"Flagpoles"

At large conferences and gatherings, I've seen some RVs that have what I'd call "flagpoles" (with "flags" flying); some of these appeared to be attached to the rear ladder -- I was reluctant to go snooping around somebody's RV when they weren't there! Does anyone have any information on these "poles", i.e., do they telescope?  Are they fiberglass, aluminum, graphite?  How do they attach?  Who sells them?
I do more wandering around looking for my car in a parking lot these days, so I thought one of these flapole things might be a handy "locator" for the 50th anniversary gathering where there'll be hundreds of LDs.  Any/all information is appreciated; thanks.

Joan, there are probably other kinds, but here's one available from Camping World: www.campingworld.com/browse/skus/index.cfm?skunum=12597&src=SRQB .
One of the couples with whom we went to Alaska in 2001, had something similar with the stand that is also advertised on the above website.  He tucked the stand underneath the rear jacks to keep it in place.
