Can you give me an estimate on the cost? Also, is the system they installed on your rig three footed or four?Quote Thanks, Bob in StuartHey Bob. Never knew there was another LD anywhere near here. They are quite rare in FL. The levelers: Four levelers. Got them about March of last year. $2,800 as I recall. It was an all day installation job. Levelers do have their limits when installed on most Class C's, LD included. The max. lift is in the 7" range. I carry some pieces of 4 x 4 with me to put under the jacks if the coach is really out of alignment and will require more than a 7" lift. They also may result in a lower ground clearance because they do hang down below the frame to some extent. I've never scraped them on anything but I'm very careful in some driving situations. Even so, I wouldn't give them up for anything. If you want to take a look sometime just let me know. We're heading out to Colorado on the 26th for a month or so but I'll be around both before & after that.Ed464-5498.

Levelers Reply #29 – May 10, 2006, 04:56:07 pm Yahoo Message Number: 66561My rig came with levelers and I am so glad, wouldn't be without them. It was one of the options I felt I needed as a solo. As for dragging, I drive a 30', which are long behind the duals, but even so I have had few problems. I do chose gas stations carefully but if unavoidable, I take the hump at a diagonal, works for me.Marial 1999 30' IB

Where is the hydraulic fluid reservoir installed on this or similar models? Obviously, there isn't any practical room under the hood. If someone has levelers I'd really appreciate your input, or a picture if it's not too much trouble. Thanks!

I installed the power pack for the HWH levelers between the frame rails alongside the driveshaft, maintaining as much distance from the driveshaft as possible. A simple, square tubular steel bar, with brackets welded on, was bolted to existing holed in the frame rails to act as the hangar at one end of the hydraulic power pack. Threaded rods were used at the other end and utilized an existing holes in a driveshaft pillow block support bracket.Figuring out "just how is the best way to do it" is probably the hardest part!I think there's pictures in the Yonder album.bumper Yonder, Minden, NV

The old Chevy-based LDs were very easy to overload.Larry
Levelers Reply #33 – February 11, 2005, 11:16:13 am Yahoo Message Number: 50647I've looked at the Lynx brand and have seen the ones CW advertizes in their catalog.Tonight while surfing the web I came across this site:www.rkrp.com/ramplevelers.htm# Steve, these ramp levelers look suspiciously like the ones that CW sells. I can tell you, from personal experience, do NOT get the ones that CW sells (yellow)...they will not last the season. If you want this type of leveler, get the Lynx Levelers (orange). We had a set of Lynx Levelers when we were fulltiming. After 5 years, we still had most of them. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of including them with the fifth wheel when we sold it and bought a set of the levelers that CW then sold (the yellow ones). By the end of our travel season (6 months), most of them were broken. We have since bought another set of Lynx Levelers as well as the Fiamma Levelup ramps ( http://www.fiamma.it/images/usa/cat2004/levelup.pdf ).Linda & Earl 2004 23.5' Red TK From Quartzsite, AZ

The Lynx brand is much sturdier. Fiamma also makes this type of block leveler, but I was told (by the rep at the FL number from Fiamma's website) that their stacking levelers were not available in the U.S. -- too bad.Joan
